Today I went on a journey to search for the witches whom I had met previously. I felt a strong need and desire to know more of what they had to say. Unfortunately, I now feel angered more than anything else... Those witches showed me unspeakable things! I saw visions of Banquo's descendants as kings. I also saw Banquo's ghost pointing and smiling at them. I AM THE KING of Scotland! These people shouldn't be allowed to hold such a title...Yet it all makes no sense whatsoever and just conflicts. I'm supposed to be concerned about Macduff yet he like everybody else is "born" of woman. To make a child it is basic biology that one man and one woman must be involved. It must be a joke? It sure didn't sound like one! I've been told I'm supposed to only start worrying when the forest of Birnam Wood moves. Like the trees are going to pick up their roots and move... Hah!
Why did I let Lady Macbeth talk me into killing King Duncan? It has caused me nothing but grief!
I would like the record to show that I did NOT give Macbeth permission to use my journal! To say I'm not impressed would be an understatement. He's been acting crazy lately and must have not been attentive enough and stuck his page in my journal instead of his... I would redact his writings but for some reason I find them a tad amusing. That being said, I will be sure to give him a thorough lecture to remind him that my journal is confidential and off limits.
