Act 5:

Lady Macbeth's Journal

Act 5:

Blood Hand

Blood... it's everywhere! I scrub and scrub my hands yet nothing makes me clean. I've tried everything but the stain won't go! "Out, damned spot! Out, I say!" I KILLED HIM... I KILLED THE KING! Why I ask... why did I command Macbeth to stab him? My life is not worth living! The pain is unbearable... Macbeth don't die...

Doctors Note:

I was notified to attend at Forres Palace to tend to Lady Macbeth. I'm saddened to report that Lady Macbeth has passed away. What I saw with this patient was perhaps the worst case I've dealt with. I witnessed her sleepwalking in a trance like state with a candle in hand and performing tasks such as writing and murmuring things I refuse to repeat.

I'd like to say, as a medical professional, (although I don't specialize with matters of the mind), that she was extremely troubled and I would not put any weight in anything she has written. I would like to add that her husband King Macbeth has also shuffled off this mortal coil. He suffered a fatal wound in a duel with Macduff. Long Live King Malcolm, the rightful heir to the throne. God Save the King!

Malcolm
