The owl shrieked! ()
That's the sign...Macbeth has murdered the king! A few minutes after I heard the ruckus from the owl, Macbeth came back. I was not very impressed with him, however... MEN can't they do anything correctly? Why would he have brought the murder weapons back with him? That wasn't according to our agreed upon plan! I suppose it's a matter of "If you want something said, ask a man; if you want something done, ask a woman". I had to quickly, yet carefully, take the daggers back and plant them in a way that would make it look like the servants had committed the murder. While there, I was shocked to discover, once again, Macbeth didn't do as he was told. WHY did he kill the servants too? Luckily it seems a blind eye will be turned towards the servants deaths (they're expendable).
Macduff was the one who discovered the king's dead body. To say he was devastated would be an understatement! I managed to give a very realistic act which I think convinced everybody into thinking I was in shock and mourning. It was a bit odd that the night was completly completely pitch black and not even a star could be made out in the night sky.
I noted also that Malcolm and Donalbain have "suspiciously" left on horseback. This makes them possible suspects in the kings murder! That should throw others off... I do just hope I've been able to scrub myself hard enough... I'm concered my hands may still have a reddish tinge (caused by bloodstains) to them! I don't want anybody to question that.
